Good and bad, this place has no rules. Basically pick any camping spot you want that is open and setup whatever you want with however many people you can fit. I never found a full hook up site with sewer. Water and electric is not a full hookup regardless of what the rude and incompetent staff says. Need to dump your gray water? No problem, just open up the valve and let it flow over your site, because hey, there ain't no rules. Want to party until midnight with loud music, alcohol, and some weed? No problem, because hey, there ain't no rules. This is among the worst campgrounds ever. The sites are oddly shaped and there is no order. This place is a free-for-all that would work great if you were a schizophrenic old person with dementia. In fact a demented schizo probably designed this place. The roads are made out of fine gravel dust that sticks to everything and gets everywhere. The pools are small and overcrowded, and the playground is from my childhood when we dealt with nuclear hot shiny metal slides and landscape timbers that splinter like crazy. The zip line we saw looked so worn out I wouldn't let my worst enemy use it. The only thing this place has going for it is the river. That's it. The river and little side creeks are really nice. And really cold.
I love going camping here! It's a very good place for the kids and our 4 legged friends too. They have two pools with shower and dressing rooms around the pool for easy access to younger children.
Stayed for a week prior to Labor Day, 2017 using Coast to Coast. Staff was good, lots of families with more than one campsite for reunions or friends. Campsites in the woods nearer to the river we're not quite as roomy as campsites by the highway, but had privacy which the other sites didn't. Lots of shade from tall trees by the highway where the fhu's are.
I have been going to Cascade Pecks Campground for quite a few years now and each time I go I am glad that we went!
This is a great family campground. We love it here. Our daughter and teen grandsons come down from Canada to be with us here for a week.
We had a camper and a tent. It was noisy at night with barking dogs and the partying campsites that had no respect for anyone around them. Even after being yelled and cursed at they'd turn it down for one song then turn it back up. I am surprised fights and murders don't occur here. Maybe they do. I sure as hell wanted to beat some people. I can't give this campground a bad enough review. In the unlikely event I return before the Second Coming I am not even going to bother paying for a site, and will just show up and park....because hey, there ain't no rules.
